The Dis-Unity Team allowed everyone to be certified to be a steward regardless of union participation or if they were illiterate with the open book test for certification. Many of the NEW stewards are washed up company sneaks that never been to a union meeting in their life. Hell there are several washed up formen and a glorified apprentice with a masters degree making $100,000+ a year as business agents. At the local a middle-aged 5-year member of the UBC is the president because he attended a few court hearings, posted on websites and made one motion at a meeting against the UBC.
